Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 23, 2026
Plain Text Daily (“we,” “us”) publishes interviews and articles about local and independent musicians. This page explains what little information we collect when you visit, and how we handle it.
Who we are
Plain Text Daily is an independent editorial project. You can reach us at hello@cainstrategies.com.
What we collect
We don’t have user accounts, comments, or a newsletter sign-up on the site right now. The only information we come across is:
- Standard server logs kept by our hosting provider (Hostinger) — things like IP address, browser type, and pages requested — used for security and keeping the site running. We don’t use this to identify individual visitors.
- Anything you choose to send us, if you email us directly (your email address, name, and whatever’s in your message).
Cookies and tracking
We don’t run advertising trackers or analytics tools on this site as of this writing. WordPress and our hosting platform may set a small number of technical cookies needed for the site to function. If that changes (for example, if we add analytics down the line), we’ll update this policy first.
How we use information
We use email you send us only to respond to you, and to help decide who to feature on the site. We don’t sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing.
Third parties
The site is hosted with Hostinger and built on WordPress. Interview subjects may be linked out to their own websites or social profiles, which have their own privacy practices we don’t control.
Your choices
If you’ve emailed us and want to know what we have on file or want it deleted, just ask at hello@cainstrategies.com and we’ll take care of it.
Children’s privacy
This site isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
