Terms of Service
Last updated: September 23, 2026
By visiting Plain Text Daily, you’re agreeing to the terms below. If you don’t agree with them, the simplest option is not to use the site.
What this site is
Plain Text Daily is an independent, non-commercial editorial project. We publish interviews and articles about local and independent musicians. There are no user accounts, no purchases, and no user-submitted content beyond emailing us directly.
The content
Articles, interviews, photos, and branding on this site belong to Plain Text Daily unless we’ve credited someone else (for example, a photo an artist provided us). You’re welcome to link to our articles or quote a short excerpt with credit and a link back. Please don’t republish full articles or interviews without asking us first at hello@cainstrategies.com.
Interview subjects
If you’re featured in an interview or article, you’re agreeing to have your name, quotes, likeness, and any material you provide us (photos, links, bios) published on the site. We do our best to represent what you said accurately, and we’re happy to correct factual errors if you spot one.
No professional advice
Everything here is for general interest and entertainment. Nothing on this site is professional, legal, or financial advice about anything, including the music business.
Links to other sites
We link out to artists’ own websites and social profiles. Once you leave our site, you’re subject to that other site’s own terms and privacy practices, which we don’t control and aren’t responsible for.
No warranties
We put this together carefully, but the site and its content are provided “as is,” without guarantees of accuracy, completeness, or uptime. Things may occasionally be wrong, out of date, or temporarily unavailable.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Plain Text Daily and the people behind it aren’t liable for damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the site evolves. The date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision.
